We're always told there's a lot of crap in a McDonald's burger. Ultimately, we don't give a shit - they taste nice, so who's bothered?
But would we change our mind if the proprietary blend in their burgers could withstand molten metal?
You'd expect something as hot and dangerous as molten copper to have a profound effect on a run of the mill fast food burger. It's the type of stuff that created and destroyed Sauron's ring of power. Surely a bun, burger and a few gherkins wouldn't stand a chance?

Au contraire.
I was expecting the burger to shrivel up in a matter of seconds and burn to a crisp. In reality, it looks as if the gherkins managed to survive and the patties just ended up looking as if a Maccies worker had cooked them for too long.
Unreactivness aside, I doubt this is actually going to stop anyone buying one.
