I wholeheartedly believe that there is life out there somewhere in the gigantic and constantly expanding corners of space.
I'm still on the fence about whether they'd come to earth without at least saying hello, but this latest video has got me thinking.
The clip appears to show an object cruising across the sky with a long plume trailing behind it.
The footage was allegedly posted by an Arabic news site and has since been picked up by SecureTeam10, one of the world's biggest UFO bloggers.
Check it out here...
SecureTeam10 owner Tyler Glockner said: "If you'll notice the way its sort of moving sideways across the front of this beautiful shot of the moon here, which also makes it difficult for me to say that it's an airliner or a plane of some sort."
Tyler compares a similar shot of the moon when a passenger plane goes passes by, and says it's much larger than the speculated UFO.
"Whatever this thing is, it's much farther up and closer to the moon than a commercial airliner," he added.
Some of SecureTeam10's 785,000 plus followers left their thoughts on what they think the object is.
One said: "It also appears to be a piece of space junk, perhaps from a destroyed craft which finally is drifting into our field of view. From who knows when. Maybe NASA has been watching for this all along."
Dalie Winterwolf added: "Pretty sure its sitting still, in orbit between earth and the moon maybe. It's the earth that's moving, not it. Or, it's some kind of solar powered ship maybe, the sails have been brought in, for observing the planet?"
However, not everyone is keen to back up SecureTeam10's 'research'.
Rival UFO hunting group, Lions Ground, claims that SecureTeam10 is deliberately fooling its audience to bring in marketing revenue.
Lions Ground says SecureTeam10 rakes in roughly £600 per day by posting fake UFO videos.
Owner, 'Heathcliff' told the Sun: "He outsmarted the UFO believers and today he drives a fancy car thinking: thank you donkeys.
"The only thing he has proven is a lack of research."
Whether this video is proof or not, we could actually be closer than ever to finding out whether life exists on other planets.
NASA has announced that scientists have found a new solar system filled with planets similar to the Earth.
Three of the seven planets represent the 'holy grail for planet-hunting astronomers', as they are the right temperature to allow alien life to flourish, researchers have said.
This means they are capable of having oceans, again suggesting that life could flourish on the planets.
No other star system has ever been found to contain so many Earth-sized and rocky planets, of the kind thought to be necessary to contain aliens.
So we'll just have to travel a few light years and poke our heads in to see what's on the surface.
