This clip is guaranteed to send a shiver down your spine.

In new footage uploaded to YouTube, a man discovers an abandoned funeral parlour in the woods containing some truly gruesome sights.

Watch as the he and a friend stumble across coffins holding bloody dead bodies.

At the beginning of the video, they come across the deserted parlour, called Memorial Mound.

After carefully walking down the steps, they enter a darkened, rotted room.

It's the other rooms, however, which truly bring the scares.

In them, we see several open coffins, some of which contain small hand-written notes inside.

The corpses themselves vary in condition. One of them belongs to an infant.

The camera get as close as possible to the carcasses but it's the pictures shown afterward that highlight the brutal, stark reality.

The video ends with an old advert for the parlour, telling customers that "many cemeteries are neglected - some are abandoned as time goes by."

It also says: "Come and see the lights at night - a truly magnificent display."

How ironic that this place should become known for another type of display, that of goosebump-inducing gore.

Police have sinced secured the Mound and are keeping it under surveillance to stop YouTuber's from trespassing on the grounds.

A whopping 2.9 million people have watched the terrifying clip.

"Omg," one wrote in the comments. "I really thought this was clickbait but still wanted to see what a left funeral home looked like. Really didn't thought [sic] this place had actual bodies in there..."

"This would make a good scary movie location," another said.

One asked: "I'm surprised it took so long for these to be discovered.. why weren't the families looking for their loved ones? I have a hard time believing that these people were all forgotten about."

It also brought up the subject of burial altogether, with one user stating: "Cremation is the way to go. We're all forgotten in a couple generations anyway. There's no point in making these Mausoleum things. Waste of space."

Then things even got quite... existential.

"I don't think it's scary, Annabelle Lecter wrote. "The dead don't scare me at all. I just think it's sad they were left behind... The living are what you should be afraid of."

Alright Annabelle, bloody hell, as if we aren't all freaked out enough.
