One of the most expensive mistakes I ever made was deciding to pay for my VW Golf on finance. Month after month, a lot of my pub funds go to the dealership I bought the machine from. Fair enough, it's German, efficient and more reliable than Keith Vaz's laundry business, but it's still put me in eternal poverty.

However, it was a practical purchase, and hasn't cost me 18k to date, and never will. This woman, however, has spent 18,000 bad boys on looking (or attempting to look like), Kim Kardashian.

Clare Leeson got a boob job and started wearing bum-enhancing pads for photo shoots in order to look like the reality TV star. However, the 27-year-old believes her choice to look like her has "ruined her life."

Why has it ruined her life, you ask?
Well, the part-time receptionist (I must work in the wrong industry) blames the majority of her misery on trolls who post comments on her photos that she shares on social media.
"'I'm sick and tired of being compared to Kim Kardashian, I am my own person," she told the Daily Mail. (Bit odd when you spend 18 thousand pounds looking like her). "I always had a resemblance to Kim and I thought I could capitalise on that by copying her look, but it's backfired and now I hate looking like her."

Despite posting near-naked photos on her Instagram and teasing her boobs, just like Kim Kardashian does, Claire claims that being compared to Kim K is not a compliment and it really upsets her.
Again, why did you spend all that money to emulate someone, then get annoyed that people mention you resemble said person?
