We've all been on holiday and got lost in and among the maze of drinking. You're there for a good time, so may as well make the most of it.

A bar tab, however, is a dangerous game, no matter what country you're in.

Four British teenagers have learned their lesson when it comes to a tab, as they're now neck high in shit, after being unable to pay their hotel bill.

The four lads from London racked up a huge 4,113 euros (£3,552) debt at their hotel in Majorca, and were arrested when they were unable to pay it.

According to Diario de Mallorca, a Spanish newspaper, the teens, three of which are 18, and one 17, presented an invalid credit card to pay their debt, and have since had their passports withdrawn.

After staying in the upmarket resort of Son Vida, the four lads won't be going anywhere until they can find a way of paying the money after appearing in front of a magistrate yesterday.

Diario de Mallorca claims that the teens tried to run away but were caught by police.

The lads allegedly splashed out on two luxury rooms, food, drinks and a late checkout, but were unable to pay the bill when leaving.
