A crane has collapsed at Falmouth Docks, provoking an evacuation after police declared it a major incident.
Fire and ambulance are currently assisting to the damage.
Around 9:10am Wednesday emergency services were alerted, quickly placing a 200m exclusion zone around the scene.
The crane is believed to have been in the process of being dismantled when the incident occurred.

Local to the area, Sara Lucy, told the Independent she was woken up by an "almighty long crashing noise which sounded like an explosion."
A spokesperson for the Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called just before 9.10am to The Docks in Falmouth, following reports of an industrial accident.
"A crane has fallen over at the Docks and a 200m exclusion zone has been in place.

"Cliff Road is closed to the public and Cornwall Fire and Rescue are in attendance.
"Properties will be evacuated and Cornwall Fire and Rescue have declared a major incident.
"There is a full yard evacuation and police are assisting with traffic".

Navy Lookout tweeted: "Crane at A&P Falmouth just collapsed on RFA Tidespring in drydock. Enormous bang & sirens sounding. Hope no casualties.
"Fortunately RFA Tidespring undamaged - Crane collapsed on the dockside. Assume no injuries but yard evacuated."
Assistant chief fire officer Phil Martin said: "Incidents involving acetylene cylinders require a well-managed response and the cordon is put in place to ensure the safety of members of the public.
"I am pleased to report that the firefighter who was injured suffered only minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. We do of course wish him a speedy recovery."
