In spite of ISIS previously enforcing a law that requires burkas to be worn, the group has now ruled that the head wear is banned in its security centres.

The terror group has labelled women in burkas as a security threat after a number of members of ISIS were killed by women wearing the full-face covering.

The ban has been put in place in the northern Iraq city of Mosul, where commanders have been killed, meaning women will have to remove their burkas to enter certain buildings.

In the past, ISIS has viciously beaten those who are not wearing burkas, in some instances killing women.

Outside of Mosul's security centres and the city itself, ISIS will still expect women to abide by their strict dress code, which requires them to be covered from head to toe, according to Iran Front Page.

Recently, the Syrian city of Manbij was liberated, and to celebrate, women were seen burning their outfits, including the veils, as a celebration.
