A 24-year-old mother-of-two has died after taking her children to a Russian sweet factory.

According to reports Svetlana Roslina dropped her phone into a vat of chocolate at Sergiev-Posad confectionery plant in Fedortsovo, Moscow, and fell in when trying to retrieve it.

A local sourced reportedly said "she was minced, only her legs were left," according to the Daily Mail.

Another source told a different story, whereby she allegedly tried emptying a sack of ingredients into the tank, being sucked in after it got caught on a mechanism.

An investigation is currently underway into the horrifying incident.

"I live here and can see the plant out of my window," a local resident said. "At 6pm there were police cars and a hearse."

This is awful.
