Member Of The Public Josh Griffiths Is The First British Man To Finish London Marathon Ahead Of Elites

Member of the public Josh Griffiths is the first British man to finish the London marathon, with a time of 2:14:49.

Griffiths finished ahead of elite runners and is now in a qualifying spot for the London world championships.

This was his first marathon, and he has impressed hundreds on Twitter following his phenomenal run.

He's part of the Swansea Harrier club and was totally overlooked as he was a club athlete, rather than an elite.

Josh is a MSc Sports Coaching Student from Wales, and an Arsenal fan.

Given the way The Gunner's season is currently going, it must be nice for him to get himself some individual glory.
