I need this.

Tom Grantham and his partner, Kay Barnes, bought the old Stagecoach bus on eBay for £1,200 ($1,500). Cheap that, isn't it?

They then spent £10,000 ($13,000) completely refitting it, putting in three double beds, a little kitchen, shower, toilet and even a log fire.

Tom said: "Kay and I were looking for a motorhome and saw the bus and thought, 'Why not?'.

"It has been perfect for family holidays."

Holidays? I'd be living in it.

The couple have three little ones, aged eight, seven and three, and have used the refurbished number 51 bus to travel across the UK as well as France and Belgium.

It hasn't all been plain sailing, though, the family did end up stranded in Switzerland after the engine packed in.

Tom said: "It was a nightmare. The police took our passports so we couldn't abandon the bus due to a law they have in the country.

"I had to call a friend to tow it all the way back home and I had to replace the engine.

"We got trains back to France and stopped off at Disneyland Paris, which of course the kids appreciated.

"They absolutely love going places on the bus."

And there's worse places to be stranded than Switzerland, surely?

Weirdly, the ex-bus used to travel past the family's home as it made its way from Grimsby to Louth.

If you're looking at this and thinking, 'fuck I want one', but you're lacking the necessary DIY skills, then do I have good news for you?

Because Tom and Kay have whacked the beautiful bus back on eBay with a starting bid of £8,000 ($10,400) - bidding ends on Monday.
