Ah, you know what they say, age is just a number.
Well that's truly been embraced here as actor Jimmy Paton, 85, has tied the knot with 26-year-old fan Amy Phillips.

Jimmy starred alongside his younger brothers brothers Paul and Barry in hit children's show Chucklevision.
Apparently Barry and Paul didn't attend the wedding at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre, reports The Sun.
Before Jimmy got down on one knee, he even asked Amy's dad for his permission, despite being 16 years older than him.

Jimmy's new mother-in-law, Mary, told The Sun: "The age gap doesn't bother them or us at all. It's love so it doesn't matter.
"Amy is happy and so are we. We are delighted and very proud. Bobby Dennis the comedian came and so did Bernie Clifton. They are Jimmy's mates and they both did speeches, they had everyone in fits of laughter."
The pair met on Facebook after Jimmy's wife, Valerie, died seven years ago.

He said: "Amy had been a fan of ChuckleVision all of her life and commented on something I posted. It just went from there. I never thought I would find this kind of love again."

ChuckleVision, which ran from from 1987 to 2009, spanned 292 episodes across 21 seasons.
Jimmy, who starred in 47 episodes, was famous for his catchphrase: "Remember, no slacking."
But if you thought that relationship had a big age gap, then wait till you see nine-year-old Sanele Masilela - the youngest groom ever after marrying 62-year-old Helen Shabangu in South Africa.

A lot of people were outraged that a child had got married to an adult, and it's pretty weird.
Helen's own children are between 28 and 38 - so he's young enough to be her grandson.

"I told my mother that I wanted to get married because I really did want to. I'm happy that I married Helen - but I will go to school and study hard," said Sanele.
"When I'm older I will marry a lady my own age. I chose Helen because I love her and, although we don't live together all the time, we meet at the dumping site where my mother works regularly."
