New Rule Could Mean Your Favourite Porn Sites Might Get Banned

No way.

There are certain things in life that create different communities. Music, films, art and fashion all bring people together, but in all kinds of different ways. There's very few things that bring all of us together, though - but one of those is porn.

It's something we can all appreciate, and whether you admit it or not, something we all shamelessly care about.

Therefore, taking away some of the accessibility we have to it drives us apart as a community. That's not something we can accept, I'm afraid.

Online porn has been faced with some changes in recent times, with governments trying their best to ensure age restrictions on it are adhered to, while a select few campaign against it.

The latest amendment to the digital economy bill, however, could possibly mean that some of your favourite adult sites might be banned soon.

The age restrictions mentioned above will require sites to have verification systems on them so that children can't view the material. If the bawdy pages ignore those rule, they could face a ban.

"Only adults should be allowed to view such content," Culture Secretary Karen Bradley said. "We have appointed a regulator to make sure the right age checks are in place. If sites refuse to comply, they should be blocked."

They could also be fronted with a fine of up to £250,000.

What are you saying everyone? Obviously it's a good thing to ensure underage people can't access such content, but are you worried some of your favourites will go by the wayside?
