You Could Get A Job Drinking Whisky And Travelling The World

To some people the 'perfect job' doesn't exist. We all manage to find something or other that makes us despite going to work, no matter how good the job might seem to outsiders.

And perhaps perfection is something impossible to find in certain careers, but if that is the case for you, you're just in the wrong profession.

For example, instead of a nine-to-five in an office, or lugging bricks around a construction site, you could be travelling the world tasting whisky.

Scottish whisky company Grant's is recruiting a new global drinks ambassador, with the only drawback being the occasional hangover.

Of course, to be with in with a shot of securing the role you'll have to brush up on your knowledge of the company, as well as your social skills in order to inform people at whisky drinking events.

The successful candidate will have to pass two rounds of interviews, Metro reports, whereby they'll have to use social media to post a drink they've created on Instagram with the hashtag #GrantsInterview, with the hope that it'll show their personality. One of the ingredients obviously has to be Grant's whisky.

They'll then pick 250 people through the hashtag, inviting them to send in their applications, before those applicants are whittled down to 20. Those people will be taken to the original distillery in Dufftown for an event, and get a two night stay in a hotel, while being set challenges.

After that, Metro reports that the company will choose just three people, and they'll be sent to either Poland, Israel, and India; South Africa, the Nordics, and Colombia; or Russia, Taiwan, and France.

While abroad they'll have to organise events, inform people about the brand and the product, as well as encouraging people to drink and buy it, while drinking it themselves, of course.

Upon their return the best candidate will bechosen to be the global drinks ambassador, forever written down in whisky folklore as one of the few who's career it is to drink.
