Mum Changes Daughter's Name Three Times Because She Can't Decide

"One gigantic clusterf**k of f**k-ups"

You can't really match the excitement that comes with welcoming a child into the world.

However, it's obviously not without it's stresses. For a very long time, the kid is likely to make you consider why you even had it in the first place. But even before it's born, there's a problem.

Picking a name isn't easy. It's nothing like picking your first email address, because if it was, every kid would have a name that'd make their parents look back in years to come and think, 'why did we choose that?' Like Keith, for instance.

A lot of thought has to go into it, and that's why mum Sophie Cachia has changed her daughter's name three times.

The blogger and her partner had shortlisted a number of names suitable for their second born, starting with Betty Margaret, the two names of their two grandmothers.

However, after blaming medication and hormones for that choice, the Mirror reports that Sophie changed her mind, choosing to call her daughter Florence Margaret, with the nickname Flossy.

Seems alright that, doesn't it? Well, not really for Sophie. Six months after the name switch, she's still not satisfied.

"FACT: my entire life I loved Audrey [Hepburn]. I had artwork and posters of her on my walls at home," she wrote on social media. "I was ALWAYS convinced I was going to call my future daughter Audrey.

"I even begged Jaryd [her partner], in labour with Bobby, to change our Valentina/Florence to Audrey at the last minute if a girl came out.

"Funnily enough, I had a girl and Audrey was never in the equation this time. Betty was, then that was wrong.

"Missy lasted 48 hours, and then she ended Florence Margaret but Margaret was only supposed to be the middle name if she was called Betty, and Florence was always supposed to be Florence Gigi.

"But I totally f**ked the whole thing up and now my experience with naming a girl is one gigantic clusterf**k of f**k-ups.

"So now LEGALLY she's Florence Margaret but we call her Florence Gigi (especially since she's her Aunty Gigi's mini-twin!!!) So yeah... basically I suck at naming girls."

Can anyone follow that? My head hurts.

So she gets called Florence/Flossy Gigi, but that isn't actually her name?

The school register is going to be interesting for this girl when she grows up.
