We're not so sure...

A lot has been made of Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson's apparent feud, after The Rock dissed him on social media long back.

The pair have appeared side by side in a number of films in the Fast and Furious series, but during production of the latest installment, The Fate of the Furious, Dwayne had some stern words about Vin.

He wrote: "This is my final week of shooting Fast & Furious 8. There's no other franchise that gets my blood boiling more than this one.

"An incredible hard working crew. Universal Studios Entertainment has been great partners as well.

"My female co-stars are always amazing and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story. Some conduct themselves as stand up men and true professionals, while others don't.

"The ones that don't are too chicken shit to do anything about it anyway. Candy asses. When you watch this movie next April and it seems like I'm not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legit boiling - you're right."

At the time the theory that the feud was a clash of egos was floated around, but sources went on to claim that Vin's arrogance was out of control and that The Rock was well-liked and professional on set.

Members of the crew said that Vin regularly turned up half an hour to an hour later to film, because he couldn't be arsed leaving his trailer.

They also claimed that he moved the 7am Monday start back to 10am.

Recently however Vin cleared up rumours saying that there is no anonymity between the two.

He told USA Today: "I don't think the world really realises how close we are, in a weird way,

"I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don't think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he's Uncle Dwayne."

He continued: "I protect the franchise. I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he'll ever know. And it doesn't matter. He doesn't have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it.

"Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that's me."

Now The Pacifier star (yeah, what a shite film), has claimed that he'd whoop the Tooth Fairy star's (yeah, what a shite film) ass, TMZ reports.

UFC fighter Tyron Woodley had previously said that, in a hypothetical fight, he'd have The Rock down as the guy coming out on top.

Sadly, Vin didn't agree. Therefore, at the premiere for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, he told Tyron that he'd genuinely beat down on Dwayne, Tyron said on the TMZ Sports TV show.

I'm not so sure, I mean, we're talking about the Jabroni beating, pie eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, heart stopping, elbow dropping, electrifying the dirty south, so Know Your Role and Shut Your Mouth, the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment, "The People's Champ", The Rock, here. He ain't soft.

Tyron got a bit worried that he was maybe fuelling more tension between the two, but that's good I reckon. Get them in a ring and just let them have at it, I say.
