As Brits we don't have enough naps, really. The working day pretty much stands in the way of us catching 40 winks, and that's not okay.
The Spanish are people we really should look at and draw inspiration, as, away from the excellent beer they brew, they've hit the nail on the head with siestas.
Small businesses still close their doors as the sun reaches its hottest temperature in the middle of the day, going for a quick slumber before reopening to the public.

Why it's not a global thing is something many people ponder, but in reality naff all would get done.
Either way, we can't help but think that a nap half way through the day can only be a good thing, which Spanish entrepreneurs have cottoned onto.
In the busy centres of various Spanish cities, siestas have taken a back seat, such is the need to not break up the day, but Maria Estrella Jorro de Inza may have found a way to bring them back, The Telegraph reports.

She's created Siesta and Go, a bar in the middle of Madrid where business folk can kick off their shoes and get a quick snooze in, before heading back to the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
For €14 (£12.30) an hour you get a private room (not like that), where you can sleep. A bit steep in cost, you might think, but you can't put a price on sleep, can you?
"It's funny that we're known for the siesta, but we haven't been professional about it," 32-year-old De Inza said.
"We get a lot of men in suits who just want to relax and women wanting to take their heels off. Lunch break is the busiest time."

The founder got the idea from Japan's 'capsule hotels' and 'nap cafes' - small, cheap rooms with a number of beds for people to stop in, sleep and then move on.

On the website she writes: "Not all of us are lucky enough to have our house near the work place so we can go and rest as we want in our free time, so Siesta & Go is the first center in Spain, located in Azca in the financial and commercial heart of Madrid.

"You can already come to sit in an armchair with footrest, read a good book, lie down on a bed as if it were yours, connect to the internet, we give you daily press, tablets, mobile chargers. You will also have study tables, in case you are studying a masters or a language.
"Without appointment, you arrive at the time that you want to, charged from the minute you enter until the minute you leave, always with five minutes of courtesy. We have monthly promotions, and cheaper bonuses, with which you can book."
Sounds alright doesn't it? Who's going to make a fortune opening one in the UK, then?
