Lad Bags Over 15 Grand Off A £10 Free Bet

Well played.

In the early stages of the month, right after pay day, we're all guilty of lumping a load of cash onto an extreme bet.

All of a sudden, the impossible suddenly becomes plausible. "I don't care if Sunderland are bottom of the league, I reckon they're going to beat City 7-1 and Defoe is going to score one with his left bollock. I've got a feeling. I can sense it in my balls," is the type of shite you'll hear in the back corner of a pub.

Most of the time the bets don't come in, leading you to those famed words of "I'm never betting again," or, even more famously, "never bet on early kick off."

Luckily, every now and again we get the pleasure of having a free bet. When this happens there are two schools of thought, either A) Put some thought into where this money is going, building up a strong balance in your account to use the following weekend, or B) Put it all on a 13-fold accumulator in the hopes of winning a five figure sum.

This lad decided that, while he was in need of a bit of luck, he'd whack his free bet on a fairly audacious five-fold.

Leicester, off the back of an emphatic home win against Liverpool earlier in the week were taking on an under performing Hull City side. With confidence from their first win of 2017, it seemed nailed on to be a BTTS affair. It was.

Swansea have hardly set the world alight this season, but neither have Burnley when they've faced teams away from home. Swansea the safer option.

Liverpool conceding at home to Arsenal, but going on to win the match, seemed like the safest bet given their record against the top six teams, and the Gunner's atrocious form against the same teams.

Down in the championship Sheffield Wednesday demolished Norwich 5-1, and Newcastle recorded a 3-1 away victory at Huddersfield.

All-in-all, nearly 16 grand from a tenner.

His luck was certainly in though, as before the the late kick offs he rang up to see if he could be made a cash out offer, though he was told that it wasn't doable off a free bet.
