YouTubers Come Under Fire After Encouraging 'Child Abuse' Between Siblings

Shocking.

There's been a massive backlash after a YouTuber uploaded a video of his son slapping his daughter across the face under his instruction.

Mike Martin also known as 'DaddyOFive' has since deleted the video from his YouTube channel, but this is the Internet and things stay on here forever.

Be warned, some people may find the following content distressing...

The slap was a 'forfeit' for losing a bottle flip game. Basically, if you flip the bottle and it doesn't land upright, your opponent gets to hit you in the face.

In the video, Mike can be heard saying: "You know you don't hit girls, but she's your sister so she don't count."

Hmm. That's probably not the right message to be giving to your kids.

After the loud slap, the girl looks in pain as she sits on the bed and holds her face.

The family were quite well known for their 'prank' videos, but have now deleted every video from their YouTube channel except for one - an apology.

As you can see, the child's mum says: "This has been the worst week of our lives and we realise that we have made some terrible parenting decisions and we just want to make things right."

She added: "We are now in family counselling because we need it, not only to get through the media stuff but we need it to come back together and for everybody, even the kids, to understand what we did wrong."

Mike said: "We put things on the internet that should not be there, we did things that we shouldn't do."

The Child Protective Services website in the family's local area actually crashed after Redditors flooded the site to report child abuse.

Some pranks that are ACTUALLY funny.

Encouraging your kids to slap each other is clearly a bad idea. The Internet isn't very forgiving and have taken to Twitter in their droves to call out the dad...

Yikes.
