An Aussie bloke has managed to capture a high-octane kangaroo brawl on camera, after he spotted them throwing punches at each other outside his bedroom window.

Charlie Riebolge, who hails from Mannum on the Murray River in South Australia, said he found the two kangaroos boxing in his yard and decided to whip out his camera to film them from a safe distance.

The two animals each put up a pretty good fight, leaning back on their tails to give themselves balance to kick each other with the brute force of both legs.

Social media users were as impressed as he was by the action, with some saying it was 'better than Mayweather', while others joked the scenes were 'typically Australian'.

One person said: "Double back foot kick whilst balancing on their tails looks impressive," another added.

Someone else wrote: "Never taking a backward step... this is why they're on our coat of arms."

Another said: "Can it get more Australian than that?"

A fourth quipped: "Good to sort things out man to man. No phones, no weapons, no cheap shots."

Many others took it as an opportunity to take a stab at Anthony Mundine, the outspoken former Aussie pro-boxer known as 'The Man'.

"More action than any Mundine fight," one Facebooker commented.

"Lasted longer than Mundine," another said.

Of course, these two kangaroos aren't the only ones to hit news headlines for looking so damn brawny.

Mind you, recently we learned that one of the most memorable - a kangaroo called Roger who found viral fame after shots of his muscular physique were shared online back in 2015 - had sadly passed away at the age of 12.

Standing at 6ft 5in (2m) and weighing 14 stone (88kg), Roger lived at the Kangaroo Sanctuary Alice Springs after being rescued as a baby by the sanctuary's owner, Chris Barnes.

Barnes broke the news of Roger's death in a post on Facebook, writing: "It's a very sad day here today for we have lost our beautiful boy, Roger.

"Ten years ago, I built this sanctuary to house Roger and a couple of his wives, Ella (and) Abigail.

"We built it so they'd have a place to live.

"Roger was our alpha male for many years and he grew up to be a kangaroo that people from all over the world have grown to love as much as we love him too."

Rest in peace, big guy.
