Footage of the massive Great White shark spotted just off the coast off Majorca has been shared online:
The shark, which measures a massive 16.5ft (5.02 metres), was filmed by research scientists from the expedition Alnitak.

The group of scientists first shared photos of the shark on the Alnitak Facebook page last week; saying it was the first confirmed sighting of such a shark in at least 30 years.
It was first spotted by the group near the uninhabited island of Cabrera, just off the south coast of Majorca.
Biologist Ricardo Sagarminaga van Buiten who heads up the group said they had followed and observed the huge fish for over an hour.

In the post, the team wrote: "In recent years there were possible unconfirmed sightings and various rumours, but this is the first scientific observation of the presence of the white shark in Spanish waters for at least 30 years.
"On this occasion, this historic sighting has been photographed, filmed and contemplated by a crew of 10 people from five countries."
The shark was reportedly snapped while eight miles away from Cabrera.

Now the group has uploaded some video footage of the shark and people are pretty impressed, with some hailing it as 'very good news' and other commenting on the sheer size of the creature, which would definitely give the big bugger from Jaws a run for its money.
Alnitak is made up of a group of scientists who are dedicated to conserving life within the oceans - they work alongside fisheries and ocean communities to help come up with workable, realistic solutions to help keep marine wildlife safe.
There are believed to be 47 different species of shark living in the Mediterranean Sea, including the Great White.

Since images of the shark have gone online, some have questioned whether it's a Great White, with several people claiming it looked like a Shortfin Mako shark - but if a group of scientists and shark experts reckon it's a Great White then I think that's good enough for me.
