You should not give your dog a name ending with 'enton' - they will let you down.
In 2011, a labrador named Fenton became a household name after a video of him chasing a herd of deer across a park went viral, though it was his owner's despairing cries that made it so priceless.

Now, a bad boy called Benton is making headlines, after he fell well below the standards expected of a guard dog.
The 120lb South African Mastiff is not the kind of guy you'd want to stumble across when invading a stranger's home, but luckily for one man, Benton was feeling very welcoming during the early hours of New Year's Day.
Lynn Sarver, from Wisconsin, USA, discovered the man lying with her dog at around 5.15am and initially thought he was her 21-year-old son.
Speaking to ABC News, she said: "It was dark in the house at the time.

"He was actually covered up in my dog's blanket.
"He had dark hair like my son, similar size. Then I get a little closer and realised it wasn't him."
Understandably alarmed, she retreated to the kitchen and called the police. But when they arrived and woke him up, it transpired it was a man who lived two doors down, who had mistakenly entered the house... presumably very sloshed.
"He was cooperative and apologetic.

"He didn't do anything wrong really, other than go in the wrong house," Ms Sarver told Inside Edition.
As such, she decided not to press charges.
She has also forgiven her three-year-old pooch for his woeful guarding efforts. Ms Sarver said her doggo is very intelligent and realised the man was no threat, hence his inaction.

Maybe she's right. Or perhaps Benton just doesn't work bank holidays.
Either way, who could stay mad at that cuddly ol' doggo?
There are certainly worse places to wake on New Year's Day than in his overly-welcoming embrace.
The neighbour returned to the house on Wednesday with his mum to apologise once again... Sounds like he's in the dog house.
