​Lidl Is Selling Sun Loungers For Cats And Dogs This Summer

As summer rolls around, we all make plans to bust out the BBQ, crack open a few cold ones and wheel out the sun loungers to enjoy as many of those elusive rays as possible.

It's the most blissful time of the year, where the warm weather makes way for lazy, hazy afternoons in the garden, and we find we're pretty much half-cut until September comes.

But wait! Has anyone stopped for a moment to spare a thought for our four-legged friends?

Actually, yes - Lidl has (well done LADs), and the summer products the budget supermarket has on offer for pets this year are frankly adorable.

The line includes the Zoofari Dog Bed With Sun Shade, which protects dogs from the sun up to UV 50.

Costing £19.99, it has a raised position to provide ventilation and 'keep your dog cool', and promises 'quick and easy' set up and take down.

The sun shade can be removed, and the bed - which measures W106 x H20 x D75cm (or W106 x H85 x D75cm with the canopy) - is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

It can support weights of up to 60kg, so probably not one for the St Bernards out there, I'm afraid.

One customer has said their dogs instantly 'fell in love' with the product, saying in a 5/5 review: "The dog bed with sun roof is absolutely brilliant. Very easy to assemble, durable, well made and big enough for most dogs.

"The sun roof is detachable which is great as the bed can then be used out doors or in side. It is a perfect height so even smaller dogs can easily get onto it. The material is also strong and easily cleaned.

"My dogs did not hesitate to try it out. They both just fell in love with it.

"I would highly recommend this product to dog and cat owners, family and friends. I would give it a definite 5/5. It is brilliant."

Then for moggies there's the Zoofari Cat Chair, which costs just £12.99.

Promising a 'cosy place for your four-legged friend to relax', the cat chair folds away for space-saving storage and the cover is both removable and washable.

Also raised slightly off the floor, it looks like the perfect spot for your feline friend to relax as the weather gets warmer.

Oh, and that's not even it; if you can't get enough of the sight of your furry friends chilling in the sun, how about this TEEPEE?! Or this dog pool?

Oh my God, you guys are going to have so much fun this summer.
