Singer Cardi B has been arrested and charged with two misdemeanors, assault and reckless endangerment following her involvement in a strip club fight back in August.
Officer Andrew Lava, a spokesman for the New York Police Department, confirmed that the platinum-selling rapper, accompanied by her attorney, turned herself in at the 109th Precinct, before being arrested.
She was later released with a 'desk appearance ticket' to return to face the charges at a later, as-yet-unspecified court date.
The charges involve a fight and assault in the Angels Strip Club, in New York, on 29 August when Cardi B, along with some in her entourage, is alleged to have thrown furniture recklessly, causing injuries to employees' feet and legs.

Her attorney, Attorney Jeff Kern, acknowledged that she had received the summons as they left a police station in the New York borough of Queens on Monday, declaring he was 'aware of no evidence' that Cardi B had 'caused anybody any harm'.
Neither Lava or another NYPD spokesperson, Officer Arlene Muniz, could provide any further details about the incident.
As she left the precinct earlier today, the 'I Like It' singer was pictured smiling.
This isn't the first time Cardi B has appeared in headlines as the result of disputes or feuds - it was reported that she started a fight with the fellow rapper, Nicki Minaj during a New York Fashion Week party in September.

Twenty-five-year-old Cardi B exited the Harper's Bazaar Icons bash in New York City's Plaza Hotel with a bump on her head in the early hours of 8 September, following a scuffle between the pair, reported Cosmopolitan.
Later, on Instagram Cardi B allegedly sent an aimed post at Minaj claiming she had made disparaging remarks about her ability to be a good mother - following the birth of her and rapper Offset's daughter.
However, Minaj later responded, calling this 'a bunch of lies'.
