Rapper Drake has revealed he has a son on his new album Scorpion, following weeks of speculation after Pusha T's diss track.

The Canadian star released his new double album on Apple Music and mentioned being a dad on three songs - 'Emotionless', '8 Out of 10' and 'March 14'.

In one song he seems to reveal that he has only seen his son once, and that the boy was born in October.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Drake Graham, raps on 'Emotionless': "I wasn't hiding my kid from the world, I was hiding the world from my kid." He then makes reference to kissing his 'son on the forehead' in '8 Out of 10'.

But it's on 'March 14' where he really opens up, with lyrics including:

"She not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine Single father, I hate when I hear it I used to challenge my parents on every album Now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent Always promised the family unit I wanted it to be different because I've been through it But this is the harsh truth now I got an empty crib for my empty crib I only met you one time, introduced you to St. Nick I think he must've brought you like 20 gifts Your mother say you're growing so fast that they don't really fit, but man, you know I still have to get it for my boy though, you know October baby for irony sake, of course I got this 11 tatted on me, now it is yours And believe me, I can't wait to get 100 more They say in two weeks you're supposed to come in town Hopefully by the time you hear this, you and your mother will have come around Instead of always cutting each other down God willing, I got a good feeling You got a good spirit, we'll talk more when you hear this "

He goes on to to say that he only met the mother of his child - rumoured to be former porn star Sophie Brussaux - twice, adding that he celebrated in Miami when a DNA test confirmed he was the dad. You don't get that on The Jeremy Kyle Show.

News of Drake's 'secret son' first hit headlines after Pusha T released 'The Song of Adidon', in which he claimed the rapper was keeping quiet about fathering a child.

In the song, Pusha T raps: "You are hiding a child, let that boy come home." He also announced that the baby was called Adonis.

Sophie has previously said the rapper told her to have an abortion when she told him she was pregnant. In an interview with TMZ she claimed that the baby was conceived in January last year.

At the time a spokesperson for Drake said if the baby was his, he would 'do the right thing by the child'.
