Just when you thought the life of Elon Musk couldn't get any more bizarre, he goes and outdoes himself by pulling one of his most random stunts yet.
It seems the man who sent a Tesla car into space and is regularly spotted having confusing Twitter outbursts has now gone and released his very own rap single. Because why not, I guess?
It gets weirder still, though, as the song in question is about deceased gorilla Harambe, who was shot and killed by a zoo worker when a three-year-old boy wandered into his enclosure and was grabbed by the 440lb silverback.

The gorilla became an instant celebrity in the wake of his controversial death, but I don't think anyone saw this rap coming.
The billionaire entrepreneur tweeted a link to his 'Emo G Records' Soundcloud account on Saturday morning, taking us to the only track listed: 'RIP Harambe'.
The song features an autotuned voice - presumably Musk's but it's hard to gauge, given the computerised nature - and the not-so-catchy lyrics: "RIP Harambe/Sipping on some Bombay/We on our way to heaven amen, amen/ RIP Harambe/ Smoking on some stronger in Gorilla Zoo/And we thinking about you."
Does he know April Fool's Day isn't until tomorrow?

Musk followed his bizarre tweet up with another, which simply said: "I'm disappointed that my record label failed."
In the next, he added: "Duck emoji defeats Emo G Records. Crushing victory."
Just in case you have absolutely no idea what he's referring to (trust me, you're not alone), it's a tweet from earlier that day of a duck emoji, which managed to garner 23,000 retweets and 170,000 favourites.
The announcement of his foray into rap, meanwhile, only got 12,000 retweets and 81,000 likes.
Perhaps don't give up the day job, eh fella?

Musk should probably tweet carefully, given his recent faux pas with social media - when he had his Twitter account blocked following a bunch of unusual musings.
He claimed Twitter had temporarily blocked his account because it suspected he had been hacked, thanks to posts like 'I <3 anime', 'Wanna buy some Bitcoin?' and one in which he said he owned a wolverine.
Never a dull day with this guy...
