Comedian Aziz Ansari has become the latest celebrity to be accused of sexual misconduct.

The Master of None creator and actor allegedly went on a date with a woman last year, which turned into the 'worst night' of her life.

The 23-year-old, who wanted to remain nameless, has spoken with babe about her encounter with the Golden Globe winning celebrity. She met Ansari at the 2017 Emmys after party and put her number in his phone at the end of the night.

Aziz won an Emmy last year for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for 'Master of None'.

Eventually they teed up a date in New York City and it sounded pretty normal until they got to the end of their dinner. The Brooklyn based photographer says Aziz quickly asked for the bill despite wine still left in her glass and the bottle he had ordered.

When they got back to Aziz's apartment, that's where the alleged sexual misconduct started.

Telling babe, the 23-year-old said: "In a second, his hand was on my breast. It was really quick. Everything was pretty much touched and done within 10 minutes of hooking up, except for actual sex."

She adds that despite her telling the actor to 'chill', he made repeated attempts to kiss her and more. The young woman says she used verbal and non-verbal cues to show she didn't want to go any further, but he was insisting on having sex.

"I wasn't really even thinking of that," she recalls. "I didn't want to be engaged in that with him. But he kept asking, so I said, 'Next time.'

"And he goes, 'Oh, you mean second date?' and I go, 'Oh, yeah, sure,' and he goes, 'Well, if I poured you another glass of wine now, would it count as our second date?'"

Eventually, she left in tears and cried the whole journey home to Brooklyn.

She messaged him the next day to pull him up on his behaviour. He responded with surprise, allegedly saying: "Clearly, I misread things in the moment and I'm truly sorry."

While it seems like just another confession of a dirt-bag American actor being accused of sexual misconduct, it's deeper than that.

When he won his Golden Globe earlier this week, he was wearing a Time's Up badge, which works alongside the #MeToo movement and provides subsidized legal support to those people who have been sexually assaulted, harassed or abused in the workplace.

Aziz has released a book, titled Modern Romance: An Investigation, which looked into relationships, dating and boundaries. Even a character in Master of None was billed as a world renowned chef who ends up being accused of sexual misconduct.

He's a self-described feminist and had an episode of MoN dedicated to the topic.

In a 2015 interview Aziz told Slate Magazine: "What I've learned, as a guy, is to just ask women questions and listen to what they have to say. Go to your group of female friends and ask them about times they've experienced sexism at their job, and you'll get blown away by the things they tell you."

That's why this accusation seems to have hit a rather strange chord with people who are familiar with him and his work.

His representatives were approached by babe for comment but hadn't responded by the time the article was published.
