A judge has granted Tyrese Gibson 50/50 access to his daughter following a court battle with his ex-wife.
Norma Gibson filed a request for a permanent restraining order against her ex-husband, which would have severely restricted Tyrese's access to 10-year-old Shayla. However, the judge denied the request and granted Tyrese and Norma 50/50 joint custody, beginning in January, according to TMZ.

Until then, the couple have worked out a schedule to ensure that they both get to see their daughter over Christmas.
Norma had claimed in court that Tyrese had physically abused their daughter, saying he had beat around 12 to 16 times. Tyrese denied this, saying he had only struck Shayla once, on the bottom, and that his ex-wife was just out to seek revenge.
Tyrese took to Instagram to share the TMZ report and a lengthy caption saying that he felt 'better stronger and blessed' and was 'looking forward to many, many great things'.
The Fast and the Furious star has opened up about his court battles in a number of social media posts. In one post, he claimed that actors Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith had given him $5 million to help pay for his legal bills, but according to TMZ, this wasn't true.
