Fans of the singer are beyond excited to get a glimpse into the star's life

For fans, there's nothing quite as exciting as when your favourite celebrity or star makes a usually-private social media account public - it gives us all a glimpse into their lives we're not normally privy to.

Frank Ocean is the latest celeb to give us all a peek into his personal life as he made his Instagram profile public - he posted a topless selfie with the caption 'welcome'.

There is no word as to why Frank has made his profile public, but fans of the enigmatic 31-year-old singer have been losing it in the comments.

One person said: "All I wanted for Christmas."

Another commented: "Yes, yes, yes, I love this. An actual gift."

Frank's account currently sits, comfortably, over 700,000 followers, but rose from of just over 2,000 followers to 80,000 in just one hour from being made public, as noted by one fan.

His account only dates back to May 2017, but in a year-and-a-half he's posted over 300 pictures that give an insight into the world he lives in.

In his first post he shared a photo from the Met Gala alongside actor Ansel Elgort, but since he has posted a variety of famous faces showing his links to other Hollywood celebs, such as Tyler, the Creator, Zoë Kravitz, and SZA.

He's also posted photos from his live performances, cover stories from i-D Magazine and 032c and an invitation to his 30th birthday party.

Notably he posted an image of a "Boys Don't Cry" billboard and his platinum certification for his most recent album, Blonde.

Recently the singer got political when he used to his Blonded RADIO episodes to encourage people to vote in the recent US midterm elections and gave away various bits of merchandise to voters.

Although he hasn't released any music since 2016 when the Blonde LP was brought out - but in an interview with i-D he did hint that he would release new music in 2018.

But as the year draws to an end it's not looking very likely we'll hear new music from the singer, unless he get's himself in gear for a Christmas release.
