Lindsay Lohan is facing backlash after posting a live Instagram video in which she follows a homeless family down the street and accuses the parents of 'trafficking children'.
In the video - which is thought to have been filmed in Moscow, based on previous Instagram story updates from Lohan - she speaks to viewers then approaches the family.
She says: "Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met, a Syrian refugee family that I'm really worried about. They really need help.

"You want to come with me? Come with me, I'll take care of you guys," she says to the family, before turning to one of the children.
She continues: "Do you want to stay in a hotel tonight? Do you want to watch movies? It would be so cool to watch a movie on a TV or a computer."
When the parents refuse Lohan's offer the star confronts them, saying: "You should not have them [your sons] on the floor, you should be a hard-working woman and you should be doing what you [can] for your children, so they have a better life.
"If someone is offering them a home and a bed, which is me at the moment, give it to them. They will come back to you."

"I won't leave until I take you. Now I know who you are. Don't f*** with me."
Then family then make an attempt to leave but Lohan persists, following them down the street all while still being broadcast live on Instagram.
"Look what's happening, they're trafficking children [...] You're ruining Arabic culture by doing this.

"You're taking these children, they want to go. I'm with you boys, don't worry, the whole world is seeing this right now."
Towards the end of the video the whole situation gets a bit physical, with the mother appearing to hit Lohan.
Clips from the video have begun circulating on social media and people on social media are confused over the footage.
One person wrote: "Did I... did I genuinely just watch Lindsey Lohan trying to coax someone else's children to go with her and pretending to speak Arabic? Has she lost her mind."

Another tweeted: "What's wrong with Lindsey Lohan? She really tried to kidnap someones child, called the parents traffickers, got slapped then cried in disbelief."
A third person commented: "Only Lindsey Lohan could go from being a dancing meme in Mykonos to getting punched in the face in Syria because she thought she was saving kids from human trafficking."
