As I'm sure you're very aware by now, the Duchess of Sussex has given birth to a baby boy today.

This is the first child for Meghan and Harry, who got married last year, and her former co-star Patrick Adams has been one of the first to congratulate the happy couple on their new bundle of joy.

Taking to Twitter Adams, who played Meghan's love interest Mike in Suits, wrote: "Just heard that the world just got heavier by 7 pounds and 3 ounces. Much love to him and his incredible parents.

"Learned first-hand 7 months ago how transformational becoming a parent is and couldn't be happier for Meghan and Harry as they begin this adventure. #playdatesoon".

Cute, eh?

Meanwhile, the official Suits Twitter account, shared the Royal Family's announcement, adding: The entire #Suits family sends their congratulations to The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, on the birth of their baby boy!"

Harry has already spoken about his 'to die-for' little boy, who arrived early this morning.

Speaking shortly after the news broke, a beaming Harry said: "I haven't been at many births. This is definitely my first birth.

"It was amazing, absolutely incredible, and, as I said, I'm so incredibly proud of my wife.

"As every father and parent will ever say, you know, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to-die-for, so I'm just over the moon."

The news was announced on social media.

The new royal baby's arrival was announced on social media, with the @sussexroyal Instagram page posting a statement that read: "We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses' son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.

"The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.

"More details will be shared in the forthcoming days."

The new baby is seventh-in-line to the throne, behind the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and his children - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - and the Duke of Sussex.
