Paul Elliot, better known as Paul Chuckle, has been seen for the first time since sharing the sad news that his older brother Jimmy Patton had died.

Paul put on a gig at Camp Bestival where he also and spent time out with a number of stars including Lewis Capaldi and boy-band RakSu.

Sharing photos of himself alongside the Scottish singer, Paul wrote: "Great set @LewisCapaldi and good to meet you."

He also heaped praise on RakSu, commenting: "One of the best acts ever to win the X-Factor, here with me at Camp Bestival."

Meanwhile, RakSu were equally as pleased to meet Paul, replying: "Was great meeting you today."

Paul and his wife Sue were at the festival, held in Dorset, just days after he announced his brother Jimmy, who also starred in ChuckleVision, had died.

Tragically, Paul has lost two brothers in less than a year and included the poignant hashtag 'TheShowMustGoOn' to one of his tweets.

He posted: "Me and Sue watching @LewisCapaldi after my set @CampBestival #TheShowMustGoOn".

Eighty-seven-year old Jimmy died last week following a battle with cancer.

Announcing the sad news, a social media dedicated to the popular kid's show read: "I just thought I'd let you know that the Chuckle Brothers' older brother Jimmy Patton has sadly passed away.

"Jimmy was a big part of ChuckleVision and the stage shows where he played the character No Slacking. RIP Jim Lad. And No Slacking."

However, as news of his death spread online Paul was forced to go online as people had mistakenly thought he had passed away.

Responding to a post from a well-meaning fan, Paul wrote: "No. I'm alive and kicking. My brother died."

Last August, his brother Paul, with whom he formed the Chuckle Brother, also died aged 73.

Speaking at the time Paul said: "I've not just lost my brother, I've lost my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend."

The pair starred in ChuckleVision together on the BBC from 1987 to 2009, with Jimmy and their other brother Brian, who played a character known as 'Getoutofit'.
