We've all been there, mid-way through a crisp binge, trying to get out of the crumby hole we've found ourselves in but they're just so fucking good.

Cheetos especially, they're the snack of dreams when you're on holiday. And for one rapper they're more like the snack of life because he ate so many he was hospitalised.

Yep, Lil Xan claims that he ate so many crisps he had to go to hospital after he started to 'puke a little blood'. Nice.

Few questions here though? How many must he have eaten to end up end up in the actual hospital? Well enough to rip 'something' in your stomach open, that's for sure.

What did A&E do to treat him? And most importantly, where can we get hot Cheetos from?!

But that's none of that is really the problem here. Well it is for Lil Xan but there's something else we picked up on.

The American rapper let his followers know that he was in the hospital yesterday and but it was the next few words that got us wondering.

He said: "Not due to any drugs."

And it seems that there was a sincere reason why the 22-year-old was letting his fans know that his hospitalisation wasn't due to drugs.

The young rapper has suffered with a Xanax addiction which he's been very open about in the past and has even recorded a song titled 'Betrayed' where he focused on his use of the controlled drug which is used to treat anxiety and panic disorder.

According to MedicalNewsToday, it is the single most prescribed psychiatric medication in the United States.

Lil Xan told Genius: "I was painfully addicted to Xans for, like, two years of my life so, anybody trying to tell me I'm a poser can shut the fuck up. I know what it's like to be addicted to that. I was lucky enough to get off that shit."

He added: "I definitely learned that lesson after I kept ending up in the hospital from withdrawing. I was doing Norcos, too. I was withdrawing from opiates and Benzos.

"It landed me in the hospital too many times. And one day, I was just like, 'This ain't fun, I can't live this life.'

"A lot of rappers don't really be talking about not doing drugs. You know, it's like the opposite way, so it's refreshing, I think."

We're pleased that he's shook off the Xanax addiction, maybe now it's time to leave the Cheetos behind, too? Just a suggestion.

Speaking to LADbible, a representative from Frito-Lay, who manufacture Cheetos, said: "At Frito-Lay, we aim to delight our consumers and food safety is always our number one priority. Flamin' Hot Cheetos meet all applicable food safety regulations, as well as our rigorous quality standards.

"That said, we realise some consumers may be more sensitive to spicy foods than others and may choose to moderate consumption or avoid spicier snacks due to personal preference."
