Seven episodes just wasn't enough and now there's a long wait for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones.
However, new show Britannia is here and it could be the perfect action-packed televisual treat to fill the gaping hole in your life that Game of Thrones has left. Thank God.
The trailer is here and it looks pretty cool:

Sky Atlantic's nine-part series Britannia is set in 43AD and centres on Celtic mythology, it will tell the story of three tribes - the Druids, the Celts and the Romans - who are battling for control of Britannia.

It was written by Jez Butterworth, who wrote James Bond flick Spectre, so I think it's fair to have high hopes for this one. It also looks really slick, more like a film than a TV series.

Britannia has a solid cast, including British actor Mackenzie Crook as the Druid chieftain Veran - and he looks very different to Gareth Keenan, having been fitted with prosthetics, scarred up and sporting some black contacts.
He looks absolutely terrifying, to be honest.

The show also stars Kelly Reilly from True Detective; David Morrissey, who appeared in The Walking Dead and Zoë Wanamaker from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
This is the first time Celtic mythology has been given the TV treatment, and I reckon If you're a fan of Game
of Thrones, Vikings or The Last
Kingdom then this is definitely worth a watch.
Sky is yet to confirm an air date, but its due to hit screens at some point next year.
