The news you needed this Friday

Just when you thought Fridays couldn't get any better, Aldi has gone ahead and slashed the price on its range of Prosecco.

The discount chain has cut the cost of its Castellore Prosecco Frizzante from £5.59 to just £3.99. An absolute snip.

But the German supermarket hasn't stopped there. It's also knocked a quid off bottles of Castellore Prosecco Spumante DOC, which will now set customers back just £4.99, rather than the usual £5.99.

According to the Mirror, the offer makes them the cheapest bottles of supermarket bubbly on offer this weekend.

And what's more, you don't even have to leave home to get in on the action. You can order up to six bottles of Spumante Prosecco online for the discounted price - and it comes with free delivery.

Stop it, guys.

But don't be fooled, this isn't just any cheap fizz. Aldi's range of Prosecco has won a variety of awards.

However, if you prefer to spend a bit more on your booze, fear not, as the supermarket also has a selection of pricey bottles, such as the Prosecco Surperiore DOCG, at £7.99 or the highly acclaimed Veuve Monsigny Champagne Brut, which will cost you a hefty £12.49. Plenty of choice.

Once you've stocked up on all your refreshments for the weekend, though, you'll need somewhere to enjoy it, right? And what better place than your very own hot tub?

Well, variety retailer B&M has slashed £50 off its Lazy Spa inflatable hot tub, meaning it's currently on sale for just £250 - an absolute steal.

A bottle of Spumante will now only set you back £4.99.

B&M had offered the same discount back in February, but it was only for a short period, and since then the hot tub had been sold at its original full price.

According to the store's website, the hot tub has 81 jets and can reach temperatures of up to 40C, enough to stay warm on those cool summer evenings.

B&M also claims the hot tub can be inflated in just five minutes and can accommodate up to four people.

The bargain was spotted by eagle-eyed shoppers at Money Saver Online - since being uploaded to Facebook, it has received hundreds of comments and more than 1,000 likes.

It seems to have gone down a storm too, with one person writing: "Bought one last year! Well worth the money, steal at the price."

Another shopper tagged their mate, writing: "If you don't buy one of these I will be massively disappointed."

Happy Fri-yay. (God, I hate myself.)
