Have you ever eaten a Jaffa Cake and thought, 'I could do with another 99 of these'? If the answer to that question is yes, then we may just have the solution.

Asda is selling 'mega boxes' of the chocolate/biscuit/cake hybrids, comprised of 10 packs containing 10 'cakes' for just £4.

The deal was spotted by a bargain-hungry (and chocolate-hungry, presumably) shopper and shared on the Money Saver Online Facebook page, where the post has received 7,000 comments - most of which were people tagging mates and planning weekend activities accordingly.

Asda has confirmed that the deal is available in stores only, adding that they are priced at only £3 in some stores, the Sun reports.

One 30 pack is normally priced at £1.50, so the maths whizzes among you will have already figured out that for 50p more you would end up with 10 cakes less for your moolah.

So what's stopping you? A sense of self-pride, or fear of death? If you really think about it, they're Jaffa Cakes, aren't they? Jaffa Cakes - orange cakes. So yes, they may be cakes, but they're also oranges. Yes, cakes are bad, but oranges are good, thus Jaffa Cakes must just be neutral from a health perspective. Or maybe they're better than neutral? Maybe they're one of your five day, or 100 of your five a day in this case? Plus, footballers eat them sometimes, and footballers are athletes. So they must be good for you. There, sorted.

Chocolate is beginning to loom larger and larger in our lives, now that the month or so's respite between the Christmas chocolate hype and the Easter chocolate hype has well and truly passed.

This has also seen the return of the Marmite Easter egg, which quite predictably, has divided people.

Think I'll stick to my 100 Jaffa Cakes, cheers.
