Cadbury Has Released An Easter Egg With Daim Pieces In The Shell

Cadbury Has Released An Easter Egg With Daim Pieces In The Shell

This is a game changer

It was a huge game-changer when Cadbury released the Daim-infused chocolate bars, but now it has raised the bar once more with the Cadbury Daim Easter egg.

The extra-large egg is more than your average chocolate shell - throughout the extra-thick chocolate egg there are crunchy Daim pieces. YES PLEASE.

The whole thing weighs in at a staggering 570g and will set you back around £12.

However, you don't just get a thick chocolate egg filled with chunks of Daim, because also included is a 120g bar of chocolate - which says it's a 'sharing' bar, but you'll get no judgement from us if you end up scoffing it all yourself.

It looks like it's going to be a pretty popular Easter treat as people are absolutely loving it on social media.

One person tweeted: "The Cadbury Daim bar Easter egg is the best thing that has ever happened to me."

"My god this Daim Easter egg is the tastiest Easter egg I've ever had," another said.

A third commented: "No seriously got Daim bar Easter egg on the brain and my mouth's pure watering."

And a fourth person said basically what we're all thinking: "Daim Easter Egg is a game changer."

News of the Cadbury-Daim-infused egg comes not long after Mars also upped its Easter Egg game by releasing a Bounty egg, with pieces of coconut in the shell.

Mars had previously released a Bounty egg, but this new egg seems like your standard chocolate Easter egg, except this bad boy is a chocolate egg filled with little pieces of coconut.

It also includes a milk chocolate Bounty bar and a dark chocolate version of the classic.

Coconut is ultimately the key ingredient that either makes a Bounty your absolute favourite thing to eat in the whole world (the correct option), or the unwanted stuff that piles up at the bottom of an otherwise-emptying tub of Celebrations until you find someone to palm it all off on (that'll be me).

But judging by the reaction to the news of its release, it'll definitely have plenty of fans this Easter.
