Autumn is here, which means pumpkin flavoured everything, the return of the winter clobber, and even more moaning about the weather.

But the best part of autumn? All the awesome comfort food, duh. And as one of the UK's most beloved eateries, Greggs knows this better than anyone and is welcoming the colder months with a brand new mouth-watering range.

Greggs Bakery

The popular bakery is launching a number of new snacks and drinks to keep our bellies happy as the temperatures start to dip, including *drum roll* a brand new bake.

Sounding about as comforting as comfort food gets, the new Beef Chilli Bake is filled with diced beef, kidney beans, onions and red peppers in a tomato and chili sauce, and there's even rice stuffed in the golden pastry. And at just £1.50 a pop, it's got a characteristically Greggs price tag, too. Did someone say hangover cure?

But that's not all the bakery chain's got in store for us to stuff our faces. There's also (get ready for this): the Spicy BBQ Chicken Wrap, £3; the Cheese and Chutney Toastie £2.85; the Chicken Roast Butternut Squash and Greens Soup, £1.90; the Ham and Cheese Toastie, £2.85; the Tuna Melt Baguette, £3; the Chocolate Brownie Doughnut, £1; and the Cookies and Creme Doughnut, £0.75.

And finally, what would an autumn menu be without a Pumpkin Spiced Latte? Rivalling the classic Starbucks drink, Greggs is introducing its own cost-effective version for just £2.20. The drink is made with sweet pumpkin spice flavour syrup, topped with cream and a shortbread crumb.

Autumn lunches just got better (and cheaper). Granted, it's probably not best to eat this stuff on a daily basis - but a cheeky Greggs here and there is always welcome, particularly as the weather's getting colder.

It's only a couple of days now (September 20) before Greggs starts rolling out some of its seasonal treats. If we hadn't tickled your tastebuds enough, get your chops around this fry-up in a Yorkshire pudding. A monster and a dream, all rolled into one heart palpitation-inducing dish.
