Hey, are you a fan of Reggae Reggae sauce? How about mayonnaise?

If you answered 'yes' to both of those questions, this could be exactly the condiment that you've been waiting for.

Caribbean cooking celebrity Levi Roots has announced the launch of 'Reggaenaise' - a combination of his signature sauce and creamy mayonnaise.

The maths isn't difficult - take a bit of Reggae Reggae sauce, which is made with allspice, scotch bonnet peppers, and paprika, and add some lovely mayo to that for an interesting twist on two classic condiments.

Interested? Well, you can head on down to Tesco and pick up a bottle for just £1.99.

Levi Roots himself said: "My legendary Reggae Reggae sauce has been a favourite for years, making the perfect pairing for anyone wanting to spice up their food. With so many fans out there, we knew we had to get the next sauce right before we released it.

"After months of taste tests, we're thrilled to release the new Reggaenaise - what we believe is an exciting balance between spicy and sweet. It's ideal for those who want to get more adventurous with their food choices, as well as all our loyal Reggae Reggae sauce addicts. I love it and I hope you do too!"

The idea is simple, you can use Reggaenaise to spice up anything you fancy really. They've offered up a few suggestions for us, like sticking it onto a halloumi wrap, or adding it to a chicken fajita.

Basically, you can be as creative as you like.

For those who've maybe forgotten, Levi Roots came to fame back in January 2007 when he took his original product onto the BBC's entrepreneurial programme Dragons' Den.

Roots then proceeded to sing the virtues of his spicy sauce and successfully managed to convince two of the dragons to invest in the product.

Since then, he's released a whole range of stuff and the sauce has become synonymous with Caribbean cooking across the UK.

Whether this new mayonnaise can continue that hype remains to be seen.

If you're into weird mayo combinations, though, how about some Crème Egg mayonnaise?

Yes, that's a thing.

You might initially shudder at the idea of that blend, but it's surprisingly tasty.

The jar promises "a scrumptious sweet spread made with rich, creamy and smooth Heinz [Seriously] Good Mayonnaise, chunks of delicious Cadbury chocolate and the glorious gooeyness of Cadbury Creme Egg".

Oddly enough it actually delivers on that promise.

Let's hope Levi Roots can do the same with his new Reggaenaise.
