In the fast-paced modern world, change is the only constant. It's true of politics, the weather, your favourite song... even foodstuffs. In fact, we often find ourselves thinking about some limited edition snack that was perhaps taken away too soon.
You might remember green ketchup, which wasn't exactly ground-breaking, but one of those nostalgia-triggering things. The same goes for Cadbury's Snowflake, Taz bars, Turkey Twizzlers and Panda Pops.
Now and again they'll rise, like a phoenix from the ashes, warming our hearts - or at least for the short time they're back on shelves. The evasive white chocolate Twix is one of those things, but now reports suggest the popular chocolate bar is back for good.
Last year, the bar was launched as a seasonal limited edition treat, but after it turned out that hooked fans had become hell-bent on tracking them down, it appears Mars are going to make them a permanent addition to sweet shop shelves.

According to Brand Eating, they'll officially cozy in among other delightful chocolate bars on the racks next month, although just in the States for the time being.
There's no mention of them returning to the UK, or anywhere else, but we can all hope that the hype is enough to bring them back.
"The dark chocolate, peanut butter and white chocolate categories are some of the largest and fastest growing partitions in our industry," said Twix Brand Director, llison Miazga-Bedrick.
"We not only wanted to give Twix fans more flavor options to choose from, but all chocolate lovers more ways to enjoy our product."

They'll reportedly come in singular packs, or the doubles we've become accustomed to.
The retail price is $0.99 to $1.09 (75p) for a single, $1.69 to $1.79 (£1.28/£1.36) for the '2 to Go', and $3.49 to $4.99 (£2.65/£3.78) for a bag of Fun Size bars.

Last month Mars also released Twix Peanut Butter back into the market. It was reported that it'd be back in September, though there have been people complaining that they couldn't get their hands on any.
It seems Twix might be releasing the bars in doses, rather in bulk, as they posted this tweet:
They're available on Amazon to buy, too, if you just want to cut the bullshit and get a multipack yourself, which will cost about £10 ($13.19).

The sought-after treats are out there though, as a search on Twitter will tell you. It's just about finding where to get them.
Happy hunting.
