Maltesers, Smarties And Oreo McFlurries Are Coming Back To McDonald's

This news is like music to our ears and ice cream to our mouths...

This is not a drill, I repeat - this is not a drill. McDonald's is bringing back Oreo, Maltesers and Smarties McFlurries.

The fast food chain announced the news to fans on Twitter by asking which flavour they're most excited about.

Just when we thought we must be the most excited about this news, we were proven wrong when one guy said: "I FEEL VERY STRONGLY ABOUT THIS BRING BACK SMARTIES," to which the official McDonald's account responded: "Oh, we are..."

Another fan commented: "Don't make me pick between Maltesers and Smarties..."

I guess you could always remove the dilemma and just get both, but still - we understand and so does McDonald's:

McDonald's are responding to the growing buzz.
Twitter

The poll that McDonald's released on Twitter currently has over 9,400 votes - at the time of writing, 51 percent of people have opted for Maltesers with 25 percent choosing Smarties. That leaves Oreo narrowly in third place, with 24 percent. All this could change because another four days remain for you to get your vote in...

The McFlurry line-up will be changing on 26 June, but if you can't wait until then, you can always visit one of the restaurants for the Aero and Mint Aero McFlurries that are available at the moment.

The Aero and Mint Aero McFlurries will be sold until 25 June.

The Aero desserts will be on sale until 25 June - they were discontinued back in 2015, and it's safe to say fans have been enjoying their return.

People are worried about what this mix-up of McFlurries will mean for the current menu, though. One person asked: "Wait. Does this mean no more Crunchie or Dairy Milk or are they still a thing too?"

Another added: "Wait! Does this mean Crunchie is gone? Nooooooo!" with a third saying: "If they touch the Crunchie one we riot." Yep, my thoughts exactly...

When you give people options they take the bull by the horns and start asking for things that aren't being offered to them.

Some are asking for vegan versions and sundaes, while others are simply for their local McDonald's to fix the McFlurry machine... bad times.
