If you've finally got around to putting your Christmas decorations up but your tree is looking a bit 'meh', then worry not - McDonald's is making all your festive dreams come true by releasing its first ever range of nugget-related Christmas merch.

Because what is more Christmassy than a small, deep-fried piece of chicken in a Santa hat? Nothing, that's what.

McDonald's has released this Christmas McNuggets for your tree.

Hot off the back of Greggs' revelation that it's set to launch its own bakery-related merch, including t-shirts and phone cases, the world's biggest fast-food chain has revealed its own range to perk up your Christmas tree, with baubles and lights on offer.

McDonald's roped in 'the three un-wise men' - Joey Essex from The Only Way Is Essex, and Love Island's Jack Fincham and Chis Hughes - to hand out the baubles in London, which must have been a pretty surreal experience for those in the capital.

Now, before you dare think it, these baubles aren't just tat. Oh no sir, they are in fact a bespoke design from Bombki1, the same designer who makes baubles for fancy retailer Fortnum and Mason. It doesn't get much better than that.

Each little golden nugget bauble is made using mouth-blown glass and is shown wearing a Santa hat. Festive AF.

Meanwhile, the fairy lights feature a string of McNuggets emblazoned with the signature McDonald's M and will look a treat on your tree.

Ben Fox, marketing director at McDonald's, said: "Our new Reindeer Ready campaign aims to remind customers that we are there when they need us at this time of year - from a Christmas shopping coffee break to a pre-party burger or even a mid-present delivery carrot stop.

You can also treat yourself to some McNugget fairy lights.

"From TV to OOH, social to in-store, we will make sure there is a little reindeer magic for everyone this Christmas."

You forgot to mention all the festive hangovers, Ben, but otherwise, good point.

The baubles and lights aren't McDonald's only festive offering this year - if edible treats are more your thing, you can get your hands on a range of Big Tasty burgers, including chicken, bacon and the original Big Tasty. There are also cheese melt dippers, made with camembert, and a Maltesers Reindeer McFlurry to top it all off.

If you want to get your filthy paws on some Maccie's merch, you can enter the competition here, where you can also try and win a branded Christmas jumper - you've got until 11.59pm on 13 December to enter, so don't hang around.
