Morrisons Is Selling This Mighty Meat Feast For A Fiver
Morrisons is selling a carnivore's dream platter with its Mighty Meat Feast, which contains a bunch of popular items including rump steak, chops and black pudding. Bring on the meat sweats.
The massive meal actually consists of eight items - rump steak, lamb chop, pork chop, three sausages and two pieces of black pudding - weighing a hefty 620g.
The 100 percent British meat treat is on sale from Morrisons Market Street butcher counters UK-wide for a limited time, from Monday 10 June, and will set you back a fiver.
The Mighty Meat Feast is designed to be used to create either a very impressive breakfast or a meat-lover's dinner - you can lash an egg and a grilled tomato on there and you've got a massive mixed grill.
The store has said the Mighty Meat Feast hits supermarkets just in time for Father's Day on Sunday, but I'm not going to judge if you get one all for yourself before then - i.e immediately.
Morrisons meat buyer, Joshua Brockbank, said: "Our Mighty Meat Feast is the perfect treat for carnivorous dads this Father's Day. We hope they can rise to the challenge."
And if that's not enough meat for you, M&S recently launched its Daddy of all Burgers, which are a whopping 1kg - the equivalent of eight quarter pounders. Obviously.
The massive burgers come with a creamy cheese sauce and barbecue pulled beef INSIDE, and are wrapped in streaky bacon rashers. The giant burgers are on sale in M&S stores now and cost £8.50.
For a huge burger, you'll need a plus-sized bun and M&S is doing those, too, with its brioche Giant Burger Buns.
Sarah Loxton, M&S product developer said: "Summer is all about family and friends getting together and enjoying delicious food and this year sees the launch of our ULTIMATE Daddy of all Burgers - made for sharing at your summer celebrations. Decedent and delicious, it's set to be a real crowd-pleaser, and better still, you can portion however you like.
"We recommend at least four servings, but it will stretch further as part of your summer feast and can even be served as a tasty canapé. The tender pulled BBQ beef and creamy cheese sauce hidden centre adds that extra wow-factor to an already show-stopping centrepiece!"
Four servings? I don't think so, pal.
