It turns out dreams do come true. For one day only, the post-college cheeky Nando's can be yours for free. To celebrate A-Level results day, the Portuguese peri peri merchants is doling out quarter chickens for nothing to anyone who can prove that they got their exam scores.
All you need is a copy of your results slip and a Student ID to take advantage of the offer, which kicks in on all orders over £7.
"Whether you're celebrating or commiserating, we're here to help with a free 1/4 Chicken or Fire-Starter on us," wrote the chicken restaurant on its website. "All you need to do is visit us and show your results (don't worry, we won't tell anyone!), and remember to bring your ID. It's only for today, so be quick!"

If you factor in the free bird, that means that students can pick up a few sides or a dessert to bump over the seven-quid threshold, while veggies can tuck into free hummus, red pepper dip, peri peri nuts or spicy mixed olives.
"Whether heading to uni, into the world of work, or off travelling the world, Nando's wants to share in the celebration, and in the true spirit of PERi-PERi, there's no minimum grade required" said Nando's.
Students took to Twitter to celebrate their free chuck. Mandy Lee tweeted: "Whatever the result guys, good or bad, treat yourself to a free Nando's! Just remember to bring your A level results & ID :yum: #ResultsDay2017."
Meanwhile, user @fallenroses said: "Can I still get a free Nando's with my shit result though". Of course you can.
While this offer runs for today and today only, eagle-eyed chicken heads will have noticed that the same offer was run in Scotland on 8th August - when students picked up their results - and they will have prepared to bring their biggest appetites with them to make the most of it.
If anything, you should be getting training in for the upcoming years as starving and skint uni students by route planning out all the Nando's within easy walking distance. It's a strict one quarter chicken per customer deal, but we suspect that various restaurants won't be sharing information with each other.
