Through the power of social media, it's now sadly easier than ever to get food envy - a hardship that can even go global, as we gawp at the Bubblegum Squash McFlurries on offer at McDonald's restaurants in Australia or the Crunchy Mint M&Ms sold in the United States.

But there's good news for anyone in the UK - the nation that can now get its mitts on white chocolate Twixes, which were previously available online or in places like America.
The white chocolate version of the treat you all know and love first hit UK shelves a few months back, but, alas, these were only limited edition AND they were in miniature form.
Now, however, we're talking about the real deal.
Evidence of the new, full-sized white chocolate Twixes was shared on Liverpool-based Instagram account InstaFoodieTwins, who wrote: "Look what's now available in @asda."
Speaking to LADbible, the InstaFoodieTwins explained they'd spotted nine-packs of the bars in their local Asda store, and have already given them the thumbs up.

"They are so good, one of the best chocolate bars you can get," they told us.
"The caramel/biscuit works perfectly with the white chocolate - definitely one for people with a sweet tooth!"
A Twix White Single has an RRP of £0.61, while the nine-packs have an RRP of £1.75.
One person commented: "THIS HAD BETTER NOT BE A JOKE. I'm going to find them and destroy them alllllllllll."

Another tagged a mate, saying: "Please go to Asda."
Someone else added: "Whitetwix! Those are the best!"
Another Instagrammer joked: "I'M TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT GODAMMIT."
Others commented to say they'd already tried the new Twix - with one giving it a firm deal of approval, writing: "Had this today! Mmmmmmm."

A spokesperson for Mars told LADbible: "We are always exploring fun new ways for consumers to enjoy their favourite products. White Twix was a limited-edition version of the iconic brand, however we've listened to the fantastic feedback and have now decided to roll out the product on a permanent basis."
According to the Sun, the bars were launched in the US after they proved to be a hit during a trial release, but at the time there were apparently no plans to give the rest of the world the good stuff.
The limited-edition miniature white Twixes were then released in the UK - with the InstaFoodieTwins referring to them as 'one of the best candy bars you can get' at the time.
They wrote on Instagram: "Limited Edition Twix White @twix @poundstretcher Probably one of the best candy bars you can get! White chocolate and caramel together is the dream team. Also insane when heated up as it makes the bar all soft and gooey."

Thankfully, it seems everyone's white chocolate Twix dreams have now become a reality. Now, who wants to get onto McDonald's about that Bubblegum Squash McFlurry? Please and thank you.
