You're sitting at your desk staring at a painfully long to-do list, while your colleague bangs on about her recent honeymoon to the Maldives. The computer is in the middle of an hour-long update. Somewhere nearby, someone is drilling - and has been for the past three weeks.

Worse still: for some reason you packed yourself the saddest cheese and pickle sandwich known to man (squashed white bread and all), so you don't even have lunch to look forward to. Times are bleak, for sure.

But, friend, it doesn't have to be that way. Instead, you could be eating your way around America as Reynolds Wrap's Chief Grilling Officer... Which I think we can all agree sounds like a much better job.

Reynolds Wrap is looking for someone to help identify the best BBQ ribs in America, having listed the new role of 'Chief Grilling Officer' on thecompany's website.

This could be you.

"Calling all pit masters, grilling fanatics, and barbeque rib fans... Reynolds Wrap once again has the dream job for you, just in time for summer," the online job description reads.

And while most of us would probably be prepared to eat our way around the States being paid in free meat, Reynolds Wrap will also pay you $10,000 (£8,000) for your efforts, and you'll have your accommodation sorted as well.

Oh, and you can take your best mate with you. Seriously, this is what dreams are made of.

"As CGO, you won't need a comfy corner office because for two weeks in August, you'll be busy tasting and savoring BBQ ribs from some of the top BBQ rib cities in the country. Along the way, you'll share tips, grilling techniques and photos on the Reynolds Kitchens website and social channels, so grilling enthusiasts at home can make drool-worthy BBQ ribs on their own.

"You'll also receive a $10,000 stipend along with pre-paid travel and lodging for you and a (very lucky) guest!"

Chow down on ribs like these.

That's right, you'll only have to work for a fortnight - meaning you'll be getting paid $5k a week for eating a shedload of meat.

All you'll have to do is taste test some of the most delicious BBQ ribs across the country, posting envy-inducing snaps of your food.

If you love BBQ food, travel and literally getting paid to eat, submit a photo of yourself grilling your favorite recipe along with 100 words on why you're the best person for the job by emailing [email protected].

Applications will close on Wednesday 19 June at 12am (CT).
