If people are smart enough to react quickly to the ongoing KFC chicken crisis, there's an opportunity for budding business people to make a quick buck.
Now one fast-thinking LAD has cashed in on the crisis by selling £10 bargain buckets at a 1000 percent mark-up. Bit worrying that someone might be that desperate to eat fried chicken, but whatevs.
Martin Godden, a ceiling fixer from Brighton, East Sussex, has so far made £400 by selling four 'rare 10-piece bargain buckets' on Facebook for £100 a pop - ten times their usual price.
Godden's big idea came after KFC was forced to close hundreds of its stores across the UK, as a widely-criticised switch in delivery companies disrupted the chain's chicken supply.

The 30-year-old dad has been getting hold of the fried chicken from a mate who works at KFC 20 miles away in the nearby town of Eastbourne, the Daily Mail reported.
Godden claims to have made two deliveries and is amazed that people are actually offering to meet his sky-high valuation. You can hardly blame him for snapping their hands off.
Godden said: "It's crazy, KFC is not worth £100. It's just about worth the normal price you pay, but it seems people that are 'desperate' will happily pay a huge premium.
"I'm just wondering how they're going feel when in a week or two when it's all back to normal, and them knowing they paid £100 for some chicken."
Godden now plans to use the cash he's made to treat his wife and kids to a trip to the Warner Bros. Harry Potter studio tour in Watford. Alright for some.

Sadly, his business venture has proven to be short-lived as the Eastbourne store he's been relying on has now also run out of chicken.
"Sadly Eastbourne is now out of chicken so all good things must come to an end," Godden said.

Martin isn't the only enterpreneur who thought they could make a tidy bit of cash out of KFC's misery this past week.
Just on Facebook Marketplace alone, other people are advertising bargain buckets along with burger meals and even pots of KFC gravy.
Despite Godden's success, not all of these efforts have proved successful - like one guy who's charging an extortionate £1000 for a bucket.
How much would you pay for your fix of the finger-lickin' good stuff?
