You Can Now Get 22 Chicken Nuggets And Two Large Fries For 77p

If there's one thing we love, it's a chicken nugget - but if there was another, it would a good ol' bargain.

Well, it turns out there's a neat little hack to combine those two glorious things, thanks to a bloke who's worked out how to bag 20 chicken nuggets and two large portions of fries from McDonald's for just 77p.

I suddenly feel VERY excited for my next hangover...

Dad-of-three Jonathan Garratty managed to get £10.77 worth of McDonald's goodies delivered to his door for under a quid using a promo code, the Sun reports.

While the code works with any restaurant on Uber Eats, the 26-year-old from Blackburn made the smart decision to go for Maccie's - ordering a 20 McChicken Nuggets Sharebox with four dips worth £4.49 and two large portions of fries worth £2.78.

The delivery fee was £3.50 on top of that, but with the £10 discount, the total came to a staggering 77p.

Garratty then shared his hack on the 10 ways to have more money Facebook page to spread the news, because, y'know, not all heroes wear capes and all that.

He told the newspaper: "It helped me financially, as being a student can be hard at times, especially at Christmas."

And here's the good news: it's a hack you can get in on, too. Ready to be amazed? OK, here we go...

Uber Eats has teamed up with Mastercard to give you a tenner off your first food order on the delivery app - you just need a Mastercard debit or credit card (yep, that includes those Monzo ones everyone has these days) to lap up the deal.

You also need to be a new Uber Eats user, although rumour has it you can get around that issue by deleting your account and downloading the app again.

You then need to just enter the promo code, '10OFFMASTERCARD' or 'GET MASTERCARD' at the bottom of the screen when you get to the checkout after picking your scran (don't forget to ask for ketchup; Garratty went for a pretty solid four portions of that).

The offer runs until 21 December, and there's no minimum spend.

Sure, all those 3am Jägerbombs may send you spiralling into your overdraft, but at least the hangover the next day can be a bit more kind on the already pretty-fraught purse strings. AND you get 20 nugs. Win-win.
