You Can Now Get White Chocolate Toblerone Ice Creams

Everyone's feeling fairly chuffed with Mondelez International (the company behind Toblerone, among others) at the moment, thanks to its recent announcement that the iconic triangular chocolate bar would return to its original shape.

It was in our bad books for a while after it launched a new, reduced-size Toblerone, which was apparently a solution to the rising cost of ingredients - adding extra space in between each triangle so that the 400g bar would drop to 360g and the 170g equivalent down to 150g.

I mean, you can take many things away from us, but if you touch one of the most widely adored chocolate bars, don't expect us to go quietly.

Thankfully, Mondelez eventually made it all better by reverting Toblerones to the shape we know and love, also increasing the 150g up to 200g just to really sweeten the deal.

But it seems the folk at Mondelez isn't done just yet, and has now brought out another exciting product to truly make it up to us.

Behold: the white chocolate Toblerone ice cream.

That's right, there's now a white chocolate version of the new Toblerone ice cream, which we recently reported had landed in supermarket shelves in the UK and saw chocolate and honey ice cream coated in milk chocolate and honey and almond pieces.

These ones feature nougat and honey ice cream covered in white chocolate and little nuggets of nougat - that's right, the absolute dream.

We spotted the white chocolate version of the ice creams in a shop in France, and while they don't seem to be available in the UK just yet, we reckon they look 100 percent worth jumping on the ferry for.

After a photo was posted on the FOODbible Facebook page, people were quick to comment on how delicious the white chocolate treat sounded.

One person said: "I tell you what... who ever thought of that is a fucking genius!!"

Another explained that the milk chocolate ones were 'to die for', so they hoped the white chocolate version was just as good.

"These look amazeballs," another Facebooker said.

It's certainly been a bumpy ride for Toblerone lovers lately, but now that the original bars are back doing the rounds AND a bunch of tasty new ice creams have been launched this summer, things are finally looking up.
