Bride Falls For Bridesmaid At Her Wedding And They Now Live As A Threesome

Last year Karalyn Henry walked down the aisle and married her childhood sweetheart, but rather than start a new life as a couple they became a threesome - with her bridesmaid.

Shortly after the ceremony they began a relationship with bridesmaid, Lana, who Karalyn had met online and had been talking to in the months leading up to the ceremony.

Speaking to the Daily Star Online, 22-year-old Karalyn, from Ohio, United States, explained she first realised she was polyamorous when she was a teenager and despite being engaged to the love of her life was missing something.

Growing up a Christian, Karalyn revealed she hid her feelings away for a long time, but eventually opened up to Justin, who she says was completely understanding of everything.

She said: "I brought my worries up with my now husband, and he nonchalantly said, 'Well you can just date a girl on the side'.

"My mind was blown - I didn't even think that was a possibility to be honest.

"We gave it a go though, and it just worked so perfectly that it stuck to us."

She added: "I don't know if I could go back to being monogamous - polyamory just works so well for us."

Karalyn soon began chatting online to Lana, who lives in Northern Ireland - which meant the first time they met was at the wedding, when Lana walked down the aisle as a bridesmaid.

And though it was only Karalyn and Lana who were supposed to start dating at first, it soon became apparent that all three had feelings for each other.

Karalyn explained: "When Lana flew over for our wedding, they both developed crushes on each other, and started dating as well.

"That turned us into a regular Poly Triad."

Lana still lives across the pond but when she is able to come over and visit all three of them stay together - taking turns at being in the middle of the bed, 'the best spot in a polyamory relationship', according to Karalyn.

She said: "And when she comes back, we have plans to go on dates together and separately.

"Seeing both of my partners together, holding hands, cuddling - it's adorable, and I'm just so happy to see them so happy!"

Karalyn admits they do face some criticism for how they choose to live their lives, with some branding it as 'cheating'. However, she says they have the full support of their families.

"It took me half way through my first polyamorous relationship before I felt comfortable telling anybody - but they all received it very well. My mother especially!

"But when I came out to her, explained the situation, and she saw how happy I was, and how happy I loved both of my partners; she changed her mind."
