Pornhub Year In Review Reveals What People Searched For In 2018

When people ask you what you got up to in 2018, you'll probably mention the new job and the fact you've been walking a lot more.

Chances are you've been getting through plenty of fapping too though.

The world's largest porn site, Pornhub, has publicised its sixth annual review and the numbers are mind/nut-blowing.

There were more than 33.5 billion visits to the site over the course of the year - a five billion increase on 2017. That's an average of 92 million visitors every single day.

And with all those visitors comes (teehee) a lot of searches; more than 30 billion in fact, or almost 1,000 per second.

Naturally, all of that demand leads to a lot of supply. Almost 4.8 million new videos were added to the site from pros and amateurs from across the planet, totalling more than a million hours of new content.

If you quantify that in Pornhub's terms: "If you were to start watching 2018's videos after the Wright brother's first flight in 1903, you would still be watching them today 115 years later!"

Come (ha) to think of it, it's probably a good job Pornhub wasn't around in 1903 - we'd still be catching the ferry if we wanted to go abroad.

But what are the most commonly used words in the comments section on Pornhub? Of course, they are 'sexy', 'love', 'good' and 'hot'.

That makes sense, think I actually used all of those words in my most recent comment on the site: "Wow, that was sexy love. Hot and good."

Most interesting of all, though, is the list of top ten searches. Being the weird and perverted creatures that we are, it's a lot more complicated than just 'man', 'woman', etc.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, 'lesbian' was the most-searched term, followed in second by 'hentai', which is like animated Japanese porn... in case you didn't know.

Variations on a mummy theme rank among the top 10, while big ass trumps big tits.

But there were also some unusual themes that defined the year.

Porn star Stormy Daniels, who made headlines throughout the year - notably comparing Doanld Trump's penis to Toad from Super Mario Bros. - was frequently searched.

The game sensation that is Fortnite also cropped up a lot.

With all those views racked up by the site, it's a wonder anyone found time to do anything in the past year.
